The P.J. Institute Newborough celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
The building was gifted to the village by Sir John Prichard Jones
It has been at the centre of village life since it's inception.
Today, due to unforeseen circumstances (the loss of income bequeathed by Sir John Prichard Jones following bombing in WWII of property in London) the funds requested to maintain and improve the building have been lacking.
In order to guarantee a vibrant and modern use of the building £750,000 is required to deliver the vision of the Institute's Board. Their intention is for the Institute to remain at the heart of village life for at least another 100 years.
